Rex the Painter

Rex Mitchell has been painting since he was 3 years of age. Rex enjoys painting nature scenes, portraits of famous people including Walter Cronkite, Barbara Streisand, and has plans to paint John Glen and Tipper Gore.

Rex’s favorite artist are DaVinci, Monet, Picasso and Michelangelo. Rex is a master of his painting and say he likes working alongside his friends Autumn and Elizabeth. Rex says he would like to try wood carving but would need help with that. He is currently sculpting a statue of Michael Meyers.

Rex loves listening to music when he paints and can be heard listening to everything from Opera to Rock n Roll. Rex says “ I’m no singer, but Babbs can sing.... And I’m no Andy Williams”
