My name is Shaun Higgins, and for as long as I can remember I have loved monster movies and spooky stuff. I loved them not because of the mindless violence, but the stories they tell. I was 8 years old when I watched “Nightmare on Elm Street”, this was the first time I was pulled into these movies. Sometimes dark, some creepy, and sometimes funny, the stories pulled me in. During my time watching I also fell in love with creature effects. Professionals like Tom Savini, Stan Winston, and Kevin Yagher to name a few, sparked my imagination.

I love getting creative and coming up with mask ideas and sculptures. It’s imagination that we all have in common. We are all creative in our own way, imagination and creativity are the common thread and its what brings people together to create the wonders of the world.
